WHO WE ARE

All of us pet owners know that we can rely on a kennel or a pet hotel while we are away from home. But we also have seen first-hand the unnecessary stress that it causes to our beloved Fluffy or Fido.

Utilizing the pet sitting services of Your Best Friend’s Friend will ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in the familiar setting of their own home, while still receiving the skilled, one-on-one quality of care they deserve.

NEW RATES, EFFECTIVE 10/1/23

$32 for a 30 minute visit
for a maximum of three pets

$37 for a 45 minute visit
for a maximum of three pets

$42 for a 1 hour visit
for a maximum of three pets

$2 per additional pet

$5 holiday fee on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day.

DAILY VISITS

  • Fresh food and water
  • Medication if necessary
  • Cleaning litter box for cats, or taking dogs outside
  • Playtime
  • Brushing or grooming
  • Unlimited cuddling and love

DOG WALKING

  • Between 30 – 60 minutes of safe and controlled dog walking.
  • Your dog or dogs will be walked by themselves and not in a pack with our other clientele.

We can also assist with complimentary household duties such as mail/newspaper retrieval, watering plants or garden, and taking garbage/recycling outside.

Fallon has been looking after my cat for four years, and she's been great — perfectly courteous, prompt, reliable, and responsible. She does such a good job that my cat is more calm after I come back from a long vacation then when she's left home alone overnight. I love Fallon! She has been taking care of my cat, Riley, for about five years now. I never worry while we are away because I know that she is in good, caring hands. We travel a few times a year and Fallon comes in to check on her, play with her and make sure she has food/water. Fallon is very professional, trustworthy, reliable and outgoing. Allowing your pet to remain in the comfort of their own home with familiar sights and smells will cause less trauma and anxiety while you are away from home. They will also be protected from aggressive animals and parasites/illnesses spread from other animals.
Your Best Friend’s Friend is business licensed, bonded and insured. Our bond and insurance policy is with Pet Sitters Associates LLC. Proof of insurance and bond is available upon request.

Your Best Friend’s Friend offers daily visits, multiple times per day visits, and dog walking. We are not accepting new overnight clients.
A $5 holiday fee for daily visits/walks will be charged for reservations made on these major holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Prior to meeting, we will send you an online form to provide us with your contact, pet/home care and veterinary information. The initial consultation takes approximately 30 minutes and is free of charge. This introduction gives a chance for one of our team members to meet with you and your pet to discuss your pet/home care. You will familiarize us with your pet’s routine and what needs to be done while you are away from home. We will have you sign a paper contract agreeing to our terms and conditions. Please have a key ready at this time.

It is easiest to make a copy of your key and have it ready at the initial consultation. Once you return from your trip and would like your key returned, we can: leave/hide it on the final visit. Returning by mail or in person will be subject to additional charges. Clients who travel frequently or plan to use our pet sitting services in the future usually provide a key for us to keep safely on file.

Your Best Friend’s Friend is sensitive to the fact that plans may change at the last minute. Please inform us and cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to the start date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee.

It is recommended that your beloved pet be attended to at least once a day while you are away. Our policy for dogs is at least once per day (dogs with access to outside/doggy door) and at least twice per day (dogs restricted to inside only). Our policy for cats is once per day.

Some of our staff is experienced in administering oral medication, diabetic injections, and fluids to both dogs and cats. Please inform this of this request at the time of booking inquiry and we will do our best to accommodate you.
